Karl Markgraf is a guitarist, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Brooklyn, NY.

Born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised in the midwest, Karl has always had a fascination with music. He began playing the piano at age 7, picked up the guitar at age 10, and was writing, recording and performing by the age of 12.

In high school, Karl attended the Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival in New York twice, where his band placed 3rd and he won several awards for outstanding musicianship. 

He went on to pursue a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Guitar from University of Northern Colorado, meanwhile performing all over the state as a freelance musician and leading several bands.

After graduating, Karl moved to New York City, where he currently works as a performing and recording artist.
